Thanks to a repair job to the exhaust system using an Irn-Bru can in the Milltown Stages, Elgin, in May 2000, the team received extensive coverage in several national newspapers including The Sun, The Daily Record, The Mirror and local newspaper, The East Kilbride News.

The team has also appeared in The Herald Magazine when a reporter for The Herald drove the car in a non-championship event and wrote an extensive article on his experience amounting to two large pages and colour photographs.

 In 2002 the team was featured in the Daily Record's Road Supplement announcing the official launch of the new Opel Corsa.

More recently, in August 2007 the team were again featured in 'The Herald'  article titled 'Stars and their cars'. In this publication Gerry McCafferty featured alongside, Ewan McGregor,  Robbie Coltrane and Olympic gold medal cyclist Graeme Obree.
