I've been competing in rallying since 1998 with my first event being at Crail, however, my interest in motorsport begins much further back. My earliest memory was not as far back back as Gerry`s but my memories are of early rallies in the Trossachs area of Scotland watching the likes of Murray Grierson and David Gillanders.

Shortly after starting rallying in 1998, I joined GMC Motorsport and the team continues to compete successfully in events throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.

My main role in the team is navigator but my post-event responsibility is to maintain and prepare the car on an event to event basis to the high standards expected by GMC Motorsport together with preparing all the route notes,booking the accommodation for the team,liaising with the press and securing the all importantant sponsorship to enable the team to continually develop and run the car.

 Rallying is of course a part-time pursuit. Day to day I work as an Construction Contracts Manager building petrol filling stations throughout the United Kingdom and Europe..
